PeopleShare is seeking a highly skilled Production Lead - Food Processing

Production Lead (Food Processing) Job Details

• Schedule: 5:30 AM - 2:30PM S-F
• Pay Rate: $18/hr - $19/hr
• Temp to Hire Production Lead (Food Processing) Job Requirements:
  --- Requires repeated stooping and bending
  --- Frequent lifting and carrying boxed/bagged fruits and vegetables
  --- Requires continuous standing for extended periods of time
  --- Ability to lift up to 60lbs on a repeated basis
  
  Production Lead (Food Processing) - Environmental conditions:
  --- Working in a 36-degree (F) processing area for 8-12 hours daily.
  --- Working in a damp environment for 8-12 hours daily.
  
  Production Lead (Food Processing) Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to recognize letters, numbers, symbols, and basic math skills. (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • 3 months in the food preparation / food processing field preferably in the produce industry
  • Pallet Jack certified, Forklift preferred
  • General knowledge of General Manufacturing Practices and procedures within a produce food preparation field
  • Ability to learn all warehouse locations and layout, where each raw product is stored
  • Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job under immediate supervision
  • Basic computer skills, keyboard, mouse, email.
  • Ability to lift up to 60lbs on a repeated basis
