Data ScientistJob Category: ScienceTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: SecretEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%Type of Travel: LocalThe Opportunity:CACI has an immediate opening for a Data Scientist supporting the United States Fleet Forces Command (USFFC) N41 under the Naval Forces Logistics (NFL) II contract at Naval Station Norfolk.Responsibilities:

• Formulate and lead multifaceted analytic studies on large data sets.
• Interpret and analyze data using mathematical and statistical techniques based on the scientific method.
• Coordinate research activities, utilize programming to clean and organize data.
• Experiment with data points, provide insights, and develop solutions to data challenges.
• Develop methodologies and prioritize projects.
• Analyze problems to identify root causes.
• Work with stakeholders to develop long-term data platform strategies.
• Apply data science methods like machine learning, statistical modeling, and AI to improve results.
• Build predictive models, visualize data, and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Create analytic products that improve processes and support data-driven decisions.Qualifications:Required:

• Current DOD Secret clearance.
• Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum of five years of related experience and proficiency in programming languages (Java, C++, Python, R, QLIK, etc.).
• Or ten years of industry experience in data science.
• Knowledge of ADVANA, Jupiter enclave, QLIK Sense or similar tools, and Databricks.Desired:
  • Knowledge of Naval Logistics Concepts and the Logistics Common Operating Picture.
