Flag Exercise Program Manager - USAF HQ ACC

ASJ IT Services, LLC is actively seeking a Flag Exercise Program
Manager. The selected candidate shall assist our government
customer in managing the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and
execution duties and responsibilities associated with USAF ACC Flag
Exercise Program to train CAF for worldwide contingency deployment
and employment operations.
The Candidate shall provide support in the following functional
- Assist with the coordination of exercise-related issues with
ACC units, Numbered Air Forces
- (NAFs), Joint Staff, Air Staff, United States Air Forces Europe
(USAFE), Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), Air Force Global Strike
Command (AFGSC), Air Reserve Component (ARC), and Air National
Guard (ANG) staffs to successfully execute the exercise
- Produce required background papers, briefs, and reports for
delivery and in response to division, command, or higher
headquarter requests for information/approval.
- Assist A3O7 in preparing and managing the Fund Code 30 exercise
financial requirements to include preparing the annual exercise
budget, preparing exercise funding memos for approval and
subsequent transmission, validating the After the Fact Funding
(ATFF) reimbursements to ACC Wings, and monitoring/tracking
exercise-related funding documents and vouchers to
- Assist A3O7 in preparing and managing the Fund Code Z4 JTCP
exercise funding requirements that fund Sister Service
participation in the ACC Flag Exercise program.
- Coordinate long range exercise event scheduling with A3O8 and
ACC, USAFE, PACAF, AFGSC, ARC, and ANG units to meet the exercise
training objectives. Additionally, contractor will utilize JTIMS to
de-conflict and prioritize requirements and commitments and
commitments to OSD, COCOM, AF, and other service
- Actively participate in various exercise planning events
(Concept Development, Initial, Mid, and Final Planning Events) to
coordinate the ACCs exercise training events required for the
- Use various authorized web-based tools such as ABSS, CRIS, DTS,
DEAMS, and Microsoft Office products to prepare funding documents
and monitor expenditures thru closure to advise ACC/A3O7 on
exercise financial management/status.
- Coordinate with Air Staff, Combatant Commands, CAF
organizations, and the ACC staff to assist with the formulation of
future exercise parameters to satisfy Command, Joint, and Service
Education, Work Experience and required Knowledge, Skills, and
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required. Equivalent work
experience may be substituted at a rate of 7 years' work experience
equals a bachelor's degree.
- Graduated from an Air Force pilot, navigator, or air battle
manager training course.
- Five (5) years of operations experience in Air Force
fighter/bomber operations at the wing or higher level and two (2)
years of staff officer experience on a headquarters level staff
(Joint, HAF, MAJCOM, NAF, etc.).
- Minimum Two (2) years of staff officer experience at Wing or
MAJCOM/HAF Staff in the following:
o Planning Air Force exercise participation/execution working on a
multi-disciplinary level coordinating requirements from other
functional staff representatives
o Creating and delivering decision briefs to MAJCOM/HAF Staffs
o Global Exercise Schedules (GES) and Joint/COCOM exercise
o ABSS, CRIS, DTS, DEAMS and JTIMS
o Implementation of AFI 10-401, Air Force Operations Planning and
Execution; AFI 10-420, Combat Air Forces Aviation Scheduling; and
AFI 10-204, Participation in Joint and National Exercises.
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance
Additional Qualifying Factors:
As a condition of employment, candidate must pass a pre-employment
drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background
check and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified
information. For this position, ASJ IT Services, LLC will consider
