Chesapeake Controls is seeking an HVAC Sales Estimator--to join our sales team.--The Estimator is responsible for assisting our sales team in performing field surveys to develop scopes and sales estimates for building automation projects. This position will also actively seek bid opportunities and commercial project sales by prospecting and responding to routine sales leads.----You will enjoy working with the top quality products and systems that Chesapeake Controls offers while working alongside a professional and knowledgeable teamMinimum qualifications include:Responsible for creating cost estimates consisting of materials, purchased equipment, labor, and other construction-related activities to assist in bidding on or determining the price for controls wiring projects.Optimizes job costs by negotiating prices with vendors through quotations for materials/services.Review specifications, drawings and attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimateExecute material quantity estimates for our full scope of workRequest quotes and pricing from material suppliersPrepare documents for order entry and uploading these in the correct format for installation and engineering.
