Job Description:
Summary:
VSolvit LLC is seeking a Program Control Analyst to support a
variety of government contracts that have been awarded to our
growing company. The contracts span DoD and other governmental
organizations, and work is performed at both VSolvit offices and
customer sites. We are looking for skills that will assist our
growth through the understanding of WAWF, CLIN's, SLIN's and help
align our financial tracking, forecasting, and budgeting across
projects. The Program Control Analyst will use analytical tools,
both computer-based and theoretical projections to show trends and
resource needs then share this information with management and
Program Managers. The Program Control Analyst tracks contract and
overhead expenses for the Program and Project Managers as well as
supports the Program and Project Managers in the preparation and
on-time delivery of required contract deliverables. In addition,
the Program Control Analyst will develop and deliver financial
status presentations to company managers and Government customer
contract representatives as business need dictates. The Program
Control Analyst will determine financial status by comparing and
analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results. Improve

analyzing results and variances, identifying trends, and
recommending actions This position requires a self-starter that is
detail-oriented and possess the strong communication skills both
verbal, written, virtual and during staff meetings.
As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these
are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours,
meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the
Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned
supervisor, and staying focused on the assigned tasks.
***This position would require the person to be at the Chesapeake,
VA office 3 to 4 days per week***
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Directly supports Program and Project Managers in the management,
analysis, and reporting of financial data.
Supports the financial management, analysis, and reporting of
government contracts and task orders financials, subcontract
financials, purchasing requests, and revenue forecasting using
financial administrative tools.
Supports the management of contract related spend plans, estimates
to complete, and the balancing of project budget against
requirements.
Uses spreadsheets and other tools to organize and present financial
and deliverable data.
Reviews, tracks, and reports on VSolvit personnel labor hour and
financial data.
Reviews, tracks, and reports on subcontractor and vendor
invoices.
Reviews, tracks, and reports on contract or task order employee
travel and other direct cost expenses.
Coordinates the communication and updating of work assignments as
they affect task order expenditure rates and project backlog.
The Program Control Analyst will also be a key contact in audit and
compliance activities.
Basic Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
2+ years experience in a Project Control Analyst/Project Financial
Analyst role working with government service contracts.
2+ years experience communicating financial information and
scenarios with management and Project/Program Managers.
3+ years working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel.
1+ years working knowledge and experience with a corporate
accounting systems such as JAMIS, Deltek, or Unanet.
Motivated self-starter and able to work independently with minimal
supervision.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
B.S. in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance or
equivalent.
2+ years' working knowledge and experience with a corporate
accounting systems such as JAMIS, Deltek, or Unanet.
2+ years' experience with Government Accounting language (i.e.,
CLIN, SLIN, ACRN).
2+ years' experience working with the Federal Acquisition
Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition policies.
2+ years' experience working with Wide Area Workflow.
Working knowledge of Google Sheets and Docs.
