As SCI continues to grow, we'll be looking for proven performers to move up.Job SummaryA Calibration Test Technician maintains, tests, calibrates, and troubleshoots automated and electromechanical control systems.Duties and Responsibilities

• Attend training sessions to learn essential requirements of the position
• Review existing electrical engineering criteria to identify necessary revisions, deletions, or amendments to outdated material.
• Perform in-lab calibration of Data Center department standards.
• Perform tasks within set schedules.
• Support other SCI departments as needed.
• Assist Project Manager with pre and post event processes.
• Pursue various proficiencies within the Calibration Lab such as Torque, Phys-D and Electronics
• Obtain the three proficiencies required for a Calibration Test Specialist I (Temperature, Humidity and Pressure)
• Get acquainted with mobilization procedures and standard maintenance.
• Become knowledgeable with Carnet procedures for overseas travel.
• Calibrate devices by comparing measurements of pressure, temperature, humidity, or other environmental conditions to known standards.
• Test performance of electromechanical assemblies' instrumentations, using portable test instruments such as process calibrators, electronic voltmeters, temperature and pressure standards, and other instruments.
• Survey, Calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, or repair electrical instruments or testing equipment.
• Inspect electrical project work and environmental sensors for quality and proper operation.
• Collaborate with team members in order to perform scheduled tasks and meet daily calibration goals.
• Ensure standards are maintained in a highly regulated, process driven environment.
• Perform instrumentation survey and convey deficiencies in a grammatical and technical manner.
• Implement Engineering Practice Scope while performing onsite calibration.
• Follow Instrumentation Calibration Procedures corresponding with the sensing element under test.
• Responsibly maintain assigned company equipment while travelling onsite.
• Work with Google Drive Shared Excel sheets and Dropbox Photos Database.
• Must be able to travel 60% globally.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check and obtain a passport
