Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience. Proven hands-on experience in electrical and electronics engineering design or product development experience or computer script/software development are of advantage.POSITION DESCRIPTION:Plasser American Corporation is a part of the Plasser & Theurer group with 18 locations around the world and customers in more than 130 countries. We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to support our Customer-IT/Digitalization strategy as a member of a dedicated Business Unit in Chesapeake, VA. In this role, you will work with a diverse group of electrical, software, and mechanical engineers on system design, development, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of AI-based machine control systems, mobile broadband data connectivity solutions, sensor-fusion products, as well as cloud-based railroad applications. In close cooperation with our international partners, you will travel abroad to receive solid hands-on training. You will apply your knowledge when working in the office and in the field on our solutions in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
