Location: Chesapeake, VA Shift: 1st Shift Work model: On-Site Schedule: FULLTIME; Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Job overview: Schneider is seeking an Operations Representative in Chesapeake to act as a liaison between carriers, operations and customer service. The Operations Representative will execute daily operational processes that ensure high-quality service is delivered and the needs of customers are met. Responsibilities: Establish, develop and maintain positive working relationships with carriers. Match available capacity to customer delivery needs. Use planning processes and decision-making tools to develop optimal plans. Monitor equipment usage. Resolve problems related to freight imbalances, changes in operations and overall market disruptions. Skills and qualifications: High School diploma or GED. 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
